Roses are Red, Violets are Blue
Floral is not for everyone, but it should be! Incorporating the botanical trend may be intimidating, however with the right styling, it is a fun addition to any gloomy cool weather wardrobe. The two outfits pictured are an example of how versatile floral can be. For sophisticated rocker chic, floral looks great paired with blacks, studs/spikes and even combat boots (see picture right). For a fun, flirtatious style you can accentuate floral colors with accessories, blazers and pants (see picture left).

Hearts for Harem
Harem style pants are my currently my favorite trend. They have a lot of versatility, as they are easy to dress up and down. My outfit of the day (pictured below) is an example of their simplicity. I was dressing for a long shopping excursion at the mall, so comfort was key. I wore a basic black tank, sweater and scarf, with combat boots to match. However paired with pumps, a statement necklace and fitted shirt and/or blazer, Harem style pants are equally effective for a night out.

Not only are they comfortable, but they come in various prints and colors to accommodate to differing taste.

Casual Denim
We are all guilty of at least a couple casual days throughout the week, but there is no reason casual can’t be simultaneously cute. Denim is one of the biggest trends this season and just so happens to be comfortable. Pictured below is an outfit that takes advantage of casual comfort, yet still allows you to express your inner fashionista.

This outfit would also be great paired with a flannel shirt in the place of the white.
